INFORMATION NOTE ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
This website is operated by SC NEW AKORD SECURITY SRL (hereinafter referred to as “New Akord Security” and/or “Site” and/or “We”), with registered office in Bucharest, sector 5, Dr. Nicolae Manolescu Street No. 10, registered with the Trade Register Office under No. J40/15139/2012, CUI 31041477. New Akord Security collects and processes various categories of personal data from you as a user of www.newakordsecurity.ro, hereinafter referred to as the “website”.
In accordance with the EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data, we are a personal data controller.
The protection of your personal data is very important to us!
With this Information Notice we describe how your personal data is used by us. By going through this note, you will find out what data we collect, how and for what purpose, and you will be informed about your rights in relation to your personal data.
Please note that we are subject to the provisions established by the EU Regulation 2016/679, which regulates how we collect your personal data and what kind of data we collect.
By accessing the New Akord Security website, the personal data we collect directly from you is from the following sources:
- the data filled in by you through the contact and order forms on the site;
- the data you provide to us through the emails you send to us at our addresses on the site;
- the data you fill in to make an online payment for the products ordered;
- the data filled in by you in order to create your customer account;
- your data from subscribing to our newsletter;
- cookies when you use our website.
New Akord Security processes personal data submitted by you in the above ways in order to:
- fulfilling your order.
- to fulfil a legal obligation
- in order to defend a legitimate right in court
- for promotional and marketing purposes
We want to keep you up to date with the best offers for the products/services you are interested in. To this end, we may send you any type of message (such as: e-mail/SMS/telephone/ etc.) containing general and thematic information, information on similar or complementary products to those you have
purchased, information on offers or promotions, information on products added to the “Account/My Account” section.
We always strive to provide you with the best online shopping experience. To do this, we may collect and use certain information about your customer/beneficiary behaviour, invite you to complete satisfaction surveys following the completion of an order, or conduct market research and surveys directly or with partners.
Given that in the online environment the exchange of information via the Internet is not 100% secure, we cannot guarantee the security of personal data transmitted in this way, but we take all necessary steps and efforts to protect the information that you provide us and that we have received from you. We assure you that any sensitive or confidential data that is not the subject of our approach (racial origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, etc.) that you communicate to us intentionally or by mistake will be deleted.
Personal data of minors. Parental consent.
The New Akord Security website is intended for persons over 18 years of age, but our website can also be accessed by minors, but their personal data will be stored and processed by us only with the prior, explicit and written consent of the parent or legal guardian. In the absence of parental consent, any personal data from a minor will be immediately deleted from our database. Therefore, we ask parents to limit the access of minors to the online space.
What happens if you do not provide us with your data?
If you do not provide us with the requested personal data, or only partially, we may not be able to create and honour your order. Our contact and account creation forms are designed in such a way that they contain the minimum amount of personal data necessary for us to contact you and fulfil your requests. If possible, we will inform you about the lack of minimum data for creating and fulfilling your orders.
Access to personal data and protection measures.
We process personal data in our database with our own staff, regularly trained to comply with the requirements of the EU Regulation 2016/679.
We may disclose some personal data to third parties for the purpose of fulfilling your request.
Where appropriate, we may transmit or provide access to certain personal data to the following categories of recipients:
- companies within the same group of companies as New Akord Security;
- partners/suppliers of products and services made available to you by New Akord Security and as requested by you;
- courier service providers;
- payment/banking service providers;
- marketing/telemarketing service providers;
- market research service providers;
- insurance companies;
- other companies with whom we can develop joint programmes to market our products and services.
We may also disclose certain personal data to public authorities where we are under a legal obligation to do so or where necessary to protect a legitimate interest.
Except as specified above, we, New Akord Security, will never disclose, trade or lend any of your personal data to any third party without your prior consent.
At the same time, we are committed to protecting your personal data from disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, unauthorised access and destruction and take all necessary steps to ensure its confidentiality.
How long we keep personal data
As a general rule, we will store your personal data for as long as you have an account on the New Akord Security website. You may at any time request that we delete certain information or close your account and we will comply with such requests, subject to retaining certain information even after account closure, where required by applicable law or our legitimate interests.
Your Rights
1. Rectification and deletion rights:
If applicable, you may ask us to rectify or complete your inaccurate or incomplete personal data. We may attempt to verify the accuracy of the data before rectifying it.
You can ask us to delete your personal data, but only if:
- they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected,
- or you have withdrawn your consent (if the processing was based on consent),
- or you exercise a legal right to object or it has been unlawfully processed,
- or we have a legal obligation to do so.
There are certain other circumstances in which we are not obliged to comply with your request to delete data, although the above are the most likely circumstances in which we would refuse your request.
2. Objection rights:
As a customer, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data. In this case we will stop the processing to which you object as soon as possible.
You can always object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, regardless of the reason.
Information and access rights:
As a customer, you have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed. At your request, we will provide you, free of charge, with a copy of your personal data. Requesting more than one copy of your personal data may entail a reasonable fee based on administrative costs.
The associated controllers shall provide them with the information they process on data subjects without undue delay and in any event within one month of receipt of the requests. This period may be extended by a further two months if necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests.
Communication methods
New Akord Security will communicate with each individual to whom personal data have been disclosed, rectified or erased, or processing restricted, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate efforts. New Akord Security will respond to your requests within the legal deadline of 30 days.

If you make unfounded, excessive or repetitive requests, we have the legal option to refuse to process your request or to charge a fee in accordance with the administrative costs necessary to fulfill your request.
If you do not agree with our response, you have the option to contact the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing. This information notice may be amended by us at any time, without prior notice, when legislation or practice in the field of personal data protection is updated.
